3. TSSAA releases enrollment numbers for 2027-29 classification cycle (milanmirrorexchange.com) — Families in Brentwood can now see where Brentwood Academy and Brentwood High fall in the TSSAA's newly released enrollment list that will drive sports classifications for the 2027–29 seasons. The statewide rankings, from smallest to largest schools, will shape future district lines and competitive matchups for student-athletes across Tennessee.

Statistics leaders entering Week 5 of TSSAA football season in Nashville area (theleafchronicle.com) — Brentwood football fans can see how their high school and Brentwood Academy stack up in the Nashville-area stat rankings heading into Week 5, with local quarterbacks, receivers, and defenders all highlighted. 5. Brentwood Optometrist Sentenced to 42 Months for $6.9M Medicare Fraud (townhall.com) — A Brentwood optometrist has been sentenced to 42 months in federal prison and ordered to repay about $6.9 million after admitting to years of fraudulent Medicare, TennCare, and federal employee health claims through her Brentwood Eye Care practice. Local patients and taxpayers are reassured that multiple agencies investigated the scheme and that restitution and supervision were imposed.
