Brentwood Optometrist Sentenced to 42 Months for $6.9M Medicare Fraud (townhall.com) β A Brentwood optometrist has been sentenced to 42 months in federal prison and ordered to repay about $6.9 million after admitting to years of fraudulent Medicare, TennCare, and federal employee health claims through her Brentwood Eye Care practice. Local patients and taxpayers are reassured that multiple agencies investigated the scheme and that restitution and supervision were imposed.
