It's one of several fresh business licenses issued across Williamson County last week, signaling new services and entrepreneurs setting up shop in nearby communities like Franklin, Spring Hill, and Fairview.
   

• Austin Peay's Chris Parson Named UAC Offensive Player of the Week (clarksvilleonline.com) — Brentwood native Chris Parson just earned United Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week after powering Austin Peay's win over UT Martin with big passing and rushing numbers. Her life spanned teaching, devoted motherhood, cherished grandparenting as "Nana," and deep faith, and friends are encouraged to honor her through memorial contributions to several ministries she loved.
