• CMA Foundation Celebrates 10 Years Of Music Teachers Of Excellence Honoring The Nation's Top Music Educators - (cmaworld.com) — A Woodland Middle School teacher from Brentwood, Aurora Foster, has been named one of the CMA Foundation's 2026 Music Teachers of Excellence, earning a $5,000 grant for her classroom and personal use. She joined 29 other standout educators honored during a star-studded Nashville celebration featuring Keith Urban, Zac Brown, and more. The program spotlights how local music teachers change students' lives well beyond the classroom.
   

• Page boys golf cruises to Class AA team title (mainstreetmediatn.com) — A Brentwood golfer, George Laskaris, helped represent the community on the state stage by finishing inside the top 10 as Page High's boys team dominated the Class AA golf championship in Sevierville. Page shot an impressive 11-under over two days, winning by 41 strokes and nearly tying a TSSAA scoring record. Several Middle Tennessee players, including from Centennial and Station Camp, placed high individually.
