2. Former bus station by Chattanooga Airport becomes McNabb Center for trauma, healing (newschannel9.com) — A former Greyhound station near Chattanooga Airport has reopened as a McNabb Center hub offering peer support and a new Jail to Work reentry program for justice-involved men in Hamilton County. Local leaders say the trauma-informed facility will expand mental health services, housing support, and job-readiness help for Chattanooga residents referred through the court system.
3. A tiny kitten was buried under rocks. He never stopped crying. (lovemeow.com) — A Chattanooga cat rescue volunteer followed faint cries near the Hixson YMCA and discovered a tiny kitten trapped under heavy rocks in a drainpipe. After a careful nighttime rescue, Rocky is now thriving in local foster care, learning tricks, bonding with a heartbeat toy, and will soon be ready for adoption by a Chattanooga-area family.
4. Ooltewah Dominates Central For First win Of Season (chattanoogan.com) — Ooltewah High bounced back from a close loss to Chattanooga Christian by routing Central 46–0 behind a perfect passing night from sophomore quarterback Rhylo Hinton. The Owls and Purple Pounders now turn to next Friday's games against Rhea County and East Hamilton, matchups many Chattanooga-area fans can attend or follow.
