CARTA CEO tells Chattanooga council $4M in parking tickets outstanding amid new program (newschannel9.com) — If you park around Chattanooga, expect CARTA to start booting cars this week, targeting drivers who owe $500 or more in unpaid tickets. With $4 million in outstanding citations, the agency is expanding its parking network and giving booted drivers just 48 hours to arrange payment before towing.
4. Remebering Dennis Haskins' lasting legacy at UTC and in the Scenic City (local3news.com) — Chattanooga is mourning Dennis Haskins, the beloved "Saved by the Bell" actor who grew up here and graduated from Notre Dame High School and UTC. Friends at the university recall how he returned to finish his degree, mentored young actors, and proudly donated show memorabilia that continues to inspire students.
