Two men arrested for soliciting minors in Hamilton County sting operation (newschannel9.com) — Authorities say a Chattanooga chiropractor and another man were arrested in Hamilton County after allegedly agreeing online to pay for sex with people they believed were 16. Undercover officers from TBI, Homeland Security, and the sheriff's office ran the sting, leading to trafficking and solicitation charges and additional counts for one suspect.
5. Georgia no. 1, Tennessee third in business magazine rankings (timesfreepress.com) — Chattanooga's business community is being credited with helping Tennessee land third place in a new national ranking of best states for doing business, just behind Georgia and Texas. Local leaders highlight how regional workforce pipelines, airport investments, and partnerships with Chattanooga State and UTC are strengthening the city's role in attracting jobs and corporate expansions.
