• Volkswagen starts 2027 Atlas assembly at Chattanooga plant (gcn.com) — Volkswagen has begun assembling its redesigned 2027 Atlas at the Chattanooga plant, reinforcing the factory's role as a major local employer for about 4,000 workers. The move follows the end of ID.4 electric vehicle production and signals VW's bet that a gas-powered, three-row SUV will keep the Tennessee facility busy and secure its future through the rest of the decade.

• Tivoli Theatre History Exhibit Opens (wdef.com) — Chattanooga residents can now explore a new "Your Ticket to History" exhibit at the Downtown Public Library, celebrating the Tivoli Theatre's legacy with photos, stories, and archival items. Open through February 26, 2027, the display arrives just ahead of the Tivoli's planned October 20, 2026 reopening after a major restoration and expansion, inviting locals to reconnect with a beloved landmark.
