• Beekepers raise concerns about neighboring Project River (wdef.com) — Cleveland residents may soon see a major energy and data-center-related development just outside town, along with a proposed 350-acre hotel and restaurant project seeking annexation for city utilities. Local beekeepers and environmental groups are raising concerns about the biomass plant's potential pollution, and the Wright family has paused the annexation request while a third-party review of Project River moves forward.
   

• Cleveland Surprises Ooltewah In Pinkout Match (chattanoogan.com) — Cleveland High's Lady Blue Raiders volleyball team picked up a confidence-boosting 3–1 road win over Ooltewah in a long-running PinkOut match supporting the MaryEllen Locher Foundation. Both head coaches, including Cleveland's Amy McGowan, are breast cancer survivors, and the victory comes as Cleveland prepares to face Rhea County next Tuesday.
   

• AAA: Tennessee gas prices drop four cents (mainstreetmediatn.com) — Drivers in Cleveland are currently paying about $3.91 per gallon, placing the city among Tennessee's least expensive metro areas for gas alongside Chattanooga and Clarksville. Statewide, prices average $4.03, still far higher than last year, and AAA warns that ongoing volatility could mean more price swings in the coming days.
