• What to know as preliminary work starts on Franklin's East Main Street bridge (newschannel5.com) — Drivers in Franklin should prepare for intermittent flagging on the East Main Street bridge starting August 24 as TDOT begins preliminary work on a major reconstruction project. One lane each way will generally remain open, but occasional full nighttime closures are possible, with the overall bridge work expected to continue through summer 2028.

While the role is national, Masyr plans to relocate to the Franklin area, bringing another senior media leader into the local community and potentially strengthening the region's growing faith-based media presence.
