1. Former Greeneville City Manager Todd Smith Holds Book Launch (wgrv.com) — Former Greeneville City Manager Todd Smith has released a new book highlighting how Greeneville and Greene County pulled together during Hurricane Helene, and he celebrated with a signing at Catalyst Coffee downtown. 2. Housley Avenue Residence Heavily Damaged By Fire (wgrv.com) — A home on Housley Avenue in Greeneville was heavily damaged by a Monday afternoon fire, but the sole occupant had already made it outside when firefighters arrived. 4. Greeneville's Kaine Ricker and Taren Claridy named Week 6 Co-Players of the Week (wjhl.com) — Two Greeneville High standouts, quarterback Kaine Ricker and receiver Taren Claridy, were honored as WJHL's Week 6 Co-Players of the Week after leading the Greene Devils to a 49–21 win over top-ranked Sevier County. Their long-built chemistry, extra Sunday throwing sessions, and big-play connection powered five total touchdowns from Ricker and three from Claridy in a statement home victory.
5. UT Institute of Agriculture Launches New Disaster Preparedness and Recovery Resource Hub (tennessee.edu) — A new University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture online hub now centralizes disaster preparedness and recovery information, including resources for those affected by Hurricane Helene.
