• Johnnie Gaddy – MARCH 10, 1933 – Sept. 22, 2026 (chestercountyindependent.com) — Henderson is mourning the loss of 93-year-old Johnnie Marie Morrison Gaddy, a lifelong resident who passed away Sept. 22 at Southern Oaks Assisted Living. A Chester County High graduate and longtime Freed-Hardeman University registration clerk, she built her life and family in Henderson, where friends and relatives remember her devotion to caregiving, daily visits with her mother, and deep love for her grandchildren.
