• Kingsport offering bicycle safety and fundamentals classes – Kingsport, TN (kingsporttn.gov) — Kingsport families can now sign up kids ages 2–14 for TREADZ, a four-week bicycle safety and skills program at the Kingsport Farmers Market starting September 8. Beginner and intermediate evening sessions cost $25 per child and require bringing a bike and helmet. Registration is available online through the city's CivicRec system or by phone through Parks and Recreation.
   

• Fort Henry Mall experiencing growth, shifting from retail to entertainment (wjhl.com) — Fort Henry Mall in Kingsport is adding an IMAX theater and a new Tiebreakers entertainment venue as part of a broader shift from traditional retail to attractions like restaurants and big-box entertainment.
