1. Public Notices – Wilson Post – September 16, 2026 (mainstreetmediatn.com) — Lebanon residents are notified of several upcoming foreclosure sales, estate creditor deadlines, and other Wilson County court actions, plus a key City of Lebanon Regional Planning Commission meeting on September 22 at Town Hall. If you own property, may be a creditor, or follow local planning decisions, these legal notices outline important dates, locations, and rights that could directly affect you.
2. Surprise resident to speak at Ultimate Cat Conference (yourvalley.net) — Lebanon will host the Ultimate Cat Conference Oct. 2–4 at Cumberland University's Alumni Hall, bringing animal shelter professionals, veterinarians, and cat advocates from across the country to town. Featured speaker and consultant Tim Crum will lead workshops on board governance, fundraising, and handling scrutiny, giving local and visiting organizations tools to strengthen feline welfare efforts.
3. Week 5 marks halfway point of regular season (lebanondemocrat.com) — Lebanon football fans can look forward to a homecoming matchup against Station Camp at Clifton Tribble Field/Danny Watkins Stadium, where the Blue Devils ride a three-game win streak. Alongside the game, Lebanon will induct four standout athletes and a coach into its Sports Hall of Fame, while other Wilson County teams hit key midseason region contests.
4. I-840 'controlled' burn still under investigation (lebanondemocrat.com) — Wilson County officials are still investigating a series of unpermitted debris fires discovered just after midnight Sept. 11 near I-840 and Darrell Waltrip Drive, close to the Nashville Superspeedway. Fire crews found multiple burning push piles that had not been coordinated with the county, and the Lebanon Democrat reports investigators have yet to release further details.
5. Beverly Ann Krudys (davidsoncountysource.com) — Lebanon readers are invited to remember Beverly Ann Krudys, who spent her final four years living here with her daughter and son-in-law and became part of a close local circle of friends. The longtime New Jersey hairdresser and research professional was known for her laughter, handmade cards, love of books, and dedication to family; her family will hold a private ceremony later and suggests memorial donations to children's charities.
