• Newly unified UHS bowlers dominate season opener (herald-citizen.com) — Upperman High School's coed bowling team will visit McMinnville on October 21 to take on Warren County after a dominant season-opening win over York Institute. The squad nearly swept its first match, highlighted by strong games from Clark Guinn, Jackson Green, and Reece Riddick, giving local fans a good reason to watch their upcoming road showdown.
• Tennessee Board Of Regents Meeting (wksr.com) — McMinnville's TCAT campus helped host the Tennessee Board of Regents' recent quarterly meeting, where leaders highlighted rising graduation numbers and enrollment across the college system. Regents also discussed proposed capital projects, including at TCATs, and a major push for targeted faculty pay increases aimed at strengthening high-demand workforce programs that could benefit students from McMinnville and across the state.
