1 Killed, Several Injured In Shooting At TN Kroger: Report
A gunman opened fire at a supermarket in Collierville, killing one person and injuring at least 12 others before turning the gun on himself.

COLLIERVILLE, TN — One person is dead and at least a dozen others were injured when a gunman opened fire in a Tennessee supermarket before turning the gun on himself, according to reports.
The shooting happened Thursday afternoon at a Kroger supermarket in Collierville, a Memphis suburb located on the eastern edge of Shelby County. Officials described the victims' injuries as "very serious" and also confirmed the gunman's death, the Washington Post reported.
Collierville Police Chief Dale Lane called it “the most horrific event” in city history.

“I’ve been involved in this for 34 years and I’ve never seen anything like it,” Lane said at a news conference.
