Journey into the enchanting worlds of Studio Ghibli as the Iris Collective performs beloved film scores live while iconic frames play on screen. Featuring music from Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, and more. Enter the magical worlds of Studio Ghibli through the power of live music. In this special concert at your art museum, the Iris Collective performs beloved scores from some of the most celebrated animated films of all time while memorable stills from the films illuminate the screen behind them. The evening opens with iconic favorites including the sweeping “Merry-Go-Round of Life” from Howl’s Moving Castle, the serene beauty of “One Summer’s Day” from Spirited Away, and the breezy charm of “A Town with an Ocean View” from Kiki’s Delivery Service. As the concert unfolds, audiences will travel deeper into the emotional and fantastical heart of Studio Ghibli with music from Princess Mononoke, Porco Rosso, and My Neighbor Totoro. The program concludes with a joyful and heartfelt finale featuring themes from Ponyo and Howl’s Moving Castle, ending with the beloved melody “Always with Me” from Spirited Away. And if the forest spirits are feeling generous, you may even hear a special encore: the iconic main theme from My Neighbor Totoro. Get your hands inspired on May 23 at Super Saturday: MCA Pottery, a creative workshop inspired by the beautifully crafted ceramics on view in the MCA (Memphis College of Art) exhibition. In celebration of this retrospective show, young artists will explore form and texture by sculpting their own mini pottery pieces using Model Magic and kid-friendly clay tools.
This tactile activity introduces children to the basics of ceramics while encouraging imagination and individual expression—no kiln required! Whether coiling a tiny vase or shaping a whimsical bowl, each piece is a personal work of art.
Perfect for ages 5–12. All materials provided. Registration is required. Spots are limited—reserve yours early!

This camp is about pushing creativity and exploration through collage and mixed media. Mixed media is a type of art that combines two or more different materials in one project. Campers will learn to combine mediums like painting, collage, and drawing! Campers will think outside the box by using conventional and unconventional materials to make their own masterpieces!&nbsp; This camp will encourage campers to problem solve, collaborate, and experiment with different artistic mediums!&nbsp;

Lunch Options
Lunch is available for purchase for $45 per camper per week. If you would like to purchase lunch for your camper, please select YES on the attendee information questions. You will be contacted in April to complete that payment.

If an event is canceled, no action is required to obtain a refund; we will issue a refund to the original method of payment used at the time of purchase.
If an event is postponed, rescheduled, or moved, your tickets are still valid for the new date, and no further action is required. However, ticket holders will receive an email notifying them of any available refund options for the event.
