From local fields to national fame, these stars got their start in Memphis.

Sports run deep in Memphis, and White Station High School has long been at the heart of it. It’s no surprise some standout talent once wore the Spartans uniform. Today we're celebrating five unforgettable athletes from White Station High School who made a name for themselves well beyond the hometown field.
1. Elias Neal – NFL Offensive Lineman (Los Angeles Rams)
A White Station High School alumnus and multi-position football star, Elias Neal went on to play college football with Marshall before reaching the NFL as an offensive lineman. 2. Kayleigh Angona – Nationally Ranked Wrestler
Current Spartan Kayleigh Angona has emerged as one of the top girls wrestlers in the country, earning national-level recognition through elite tournament performances. Her success has included strong showings in major regional and national competitions, establishing her as a top-ranked young athlete within the sport. 3. Cedric Wilson Jr. – NFL Wide Receiver (Miami Dolphins)
During his time as a Spartan, Cedrick Wilson Jr. developed into a standout wide receiver before continuing his football career at the collegiate level. 4. Ollie Hale – Nationally Recognized Dancer
White Station High School’s own Ollie Hale earned widespread recognition in the competitive dance scene, qualifying for and placing in both regional and national competitions. 5. Chris Chiozza – Professional Guard (Pallacanestro Cantù)
A White Station High School alumnus, Chris Chiozza went on to star at the collegiate level at the University of Florida, where he helped the Gators win the 2017 NCAA national championship.
