Reading to a child is one of the simplest and most powerful ways to help them learn, grow, and feel connected. It supports academic development, imagination, emotional growth, and builds strong character. Here at Characters of Character we have nine animal traits your children will relate to! Our books are engaging, impactful and provide the opportunity for you to talk about what good characters is, what it means, what it looks like, what it sounds like, where you should have it and more!Build those skills and build a foundation of learning, growing and good character for a lifetime.Happy Reading, no time like the present!
"Every story is an opportunity to learn, imagine, and grow. When you read with a child, you are not only helping them become a better reader—you are helping them become a more confident, caring, and curious person."
For Characters of Character, reading can be especially meaningful because stories can turn lessons about good character into something children can see, understand, and practice in their everyday lives.
I worked on the Reading Team in our Elementary School and there is nothing more rewarding when that light goes on and child can write a letter, a word, a sentence and more. Or, when they can sound out the words, read a sentence and write a paragraph. We need to teach these skills though. Find a topic or a character that interests your child and they will want to learn, grow and thrive!! Books will bring them to life!!
