• Pumpkin Festival Royalty Crowned Saturday (wjle.com) — Smithville residents were well represented among the newly crowned Pumpkin Festival royalty, with multiple local contestants taking home queen, king, and runner-up titles across age groups. The pageant, held at the county complex, also honored Eli Harvey's memory as participants donated nearly a thousand stuffed animals and puzzles to the Last Minute Toy Shop Ministry.
