4 Killed In Shooting At 1-Year-Old's Birthday Party; 2 At-Large
Four men were killed in the Taft shooting and a fifth was airlifted to a hospital, the state Department of Public Safety told reporters.
TAFT, TX – Four men were killed when a fight broke out at a 1-year-old's birthday party in Taft, about 10 miles north of Corpus Christi. Gunshots rang out around 5:15 p.m. at a residence on the 500 block of Wilburn Street, Sgt. Nathan Brandley of the state Department of Public Safety told reporters.
It appears a fight broke out during the party between two separate families, Brandley said.
Four men were killed and a fifth was airlifted to a hospital in Corpus Christi. The names of the victims and the two suspects weren't immediately known. Thesuspects remain on the loose.
