Massive Pipeline Explosion Captured On Video

The Kleberg County Sheriff's Office​ responded to the scene at about 10:30 a.m.

KINGSVILLE, TX — A massive pipeline explosion was captured on video by a passerby Thursday morning in Kingsville. Kristopher Reyes was driving along 141 going towards 281, on King Ranch, when he saw a massive fire ball rise from the ground.

"You could hear the hissing noise as we passed with the window down, and could feel the heat from the car," Reyes told Patch.

The Kleberg County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene at about 10:30 a.m. There have been no injuries or damage reported thus far, the sheriff's dispatch told Patch. As of 12:40 p.m., the fire was under control, the sheriff's dispatch added.
