Texas Teacher Accused Of Having Sex With Two Students

MUENSTER, TX -- A 32-year-old Muenster High School teacher has been accused of having sex with two students. Lynn Burge, who is married and has children, resigned last week, KWTX reported.

Burge's alleged behavior began with her sending nude Snapchat photos to a 16-year-old male student in Oct. 2017. She later went drinking with the boy and taking him back to her house where they had sex, KWTX added. Burge also engaged in a similar pattern with an 18-year-old student.

"Mrs. Burge is no longer employed by MISD, and the district is currently conducting an investigation into the alleged misconduct,” Muenster superintendent Steven Self said in a statement Friday, according to the Daily Register. “Federal privacy laws prevent me from providing further details. The district considers safety to be its highest priority and is committed to ensuring the well-being of MISD students.”
