Woman Fires Gun To Try And Scare Men Retrieving Cowboys Blanket
A Laredo woman who allegedly took a Cowboys blanket allegedly shot off a gun in an effort to keep it last week.

LAREDO, TX — A 38-year-old woman has been charged with discharging a firearm after she allegedly shot a gun to try and scare away two men retrieving a Dallas Cowboys blanket from her home. The shooting involving Adriana Marcelina Pellum happened in the 100 block of San Carlos Street Sept. 26 at 10:15 p.m., the Laredo Morning Times reported.
Two men had pulled up to Pellum's home to collect the blanket she had taken from their friend, the Times reported. In an effort to turn them away, Pellum allegedly fired off one shot from a 9mm Smith and Wesson. No one was injured.
Pellum was released on $500 bond the next day, according to Webb County records.
