$10,000 Reward Offered For Information In Deadly March Crash
Police say the driver of a truck stopped briefly but eventually fled the scene without calling for help.

ARLINGTON, TX — Police in Arlington are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a hit-and-run driver involved in a March crash.
On the night of March 15, around 9:00 p.m., Brandon Oliver was riding his motorcycle in the 5700 block of Kelly Elliott Road when a truck turned left in front of his bike.
Oliver avoided a direct collision by laying his motorcycle down on the roadway, but he still came into contact with the truck and was injured, police said.

The driver of the truck stopped and exited his automobile but eventually got back in his truck and drove off without calling 9-1-1, police said.
Oliver was taken to a nearby hospital and died eight days later as a result of his injuries.

Police believe the driver of the truck was a man, and investigators are asking for the public's help identifying the man.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Cody Towns at 817-575-8603 or Traffic Sergeant Andy Pina at 817-459-5608. Tipsters can also remain anonymous by contacting Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS.
An anonymous donor came forward after seeing local media reports regarding this case and provided Tarrant County Crime Stoppers with a cashier’s check in the amount of $10,000 in hopes of generating new leads in this case.
The department is grateful in their generosity, police said in a statement.
