Barenaked Ladies, Dallas-raised Lisa Loeb to headline Do Good Fest at Levitt Pavilion Arlington (kxt.org) — Barenaked Ladies and Dallas-raised Lisa Loeb will headline Do Good Fest at Levitt Pavilion Arlington on Oct. 24, with tickets starting at $20. The benefit concert supports Tarrant Area Food Bank's Ready to Learn initiative, funding in-school markets and kids' programs, and will also showcase a North Texas high school act through the Beats for Good competition.

Frights, bites and brews: Six Flags Over Texas unveils its fall festivities (dallasnews.com) — Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington is rolling out a full slate of fall fun, from Fright Fest haunted houses to family-friendly Tricks and Treats and a lively Oktoberfest. Running Sept. 11 through Nov. 1, the park will feature new horror attractions, Día de los Muertos experiences, kids' activities, themed shows, and German-inspired food and stein-holding contests.

Luke Combs In Elite Company As He Scores 21st Career #1 Hit On Country Airplay Chart (whiskeyriff.com) — Country star Luke Combs is bringing his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour to Arlington's AT&T Stadium on April 3, 2027, as part of a newly extended stadium run. The announcement comes as Combs scores his 21st No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart with "Be By You," cementing his place among the format's most successful artists.
   

4. Angels' error in ninth hands Rangers walk-off victory (statenews.net) — Texas Rangers fans in Arlington saw a dramatic finish Friday night as a Los Angeles Angels throwing error in the 10th inning handed the home team a 2-1 walk-off win. Strong starts from both pitchers kept the game scoreless until late, before Wyatt Langford's clutch RBI double and a misfire on a potential force play sealed it.
