• Arlington Holiday Lights Parade (arlingtontoday.com) — Downtown Arlington is gearing up for the free Arlington Holiday Lights Parade on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2026, along West Abram Street between Levitt Pavilion and Cooper Street. As the city marks its 150th anniversary, organizers are inviting local groups to enter floats, businesses to sponsor everything from bands to balloons, and residents to share old parade photos for a prize-winning contest.
   

• Little Spark, big screams: Arlington studio ignites North Texas' interest in horror (couriertexas.com) — An Arlington-based horror studio, Little Spark Films, has grown from DIY music videos into a full-fledged production company shooting at local spots like Old School Pizza Tavern. Founders Catalina Querida and Joe Manco are wrapping a women-led feature and pursuing a long-shelved Stan Lee project, backed by a new $1 million investment that could mean more opportunities for North Texas creatives.
