Arlington Aquatics Outdoor Pool Rental Day Is Set For Friday, June 26

In accordance with Governor Greg Abbott’s plan to reopen Texas, Arlington Parks & Recreation will start offering private pool party rentals Sunday, July 5, 2020. To prepare for pool rentals opening, Arlington Aquatics will host a Pool Rental Day Friday, June 26, 2020 where people can call to start reserving private pool parties.
At this time, due to social distancing in place which requires the use of the entire pool facility, Arlington Aquatics will not be offering pavilion rentals during public hours. Once social distancing rules are lifted, pavilion rentals will be able to be offered.

Pool party rentals are available Thursday through Sunday for private parties, family gatherings, reunions, etc. Times vary depending on the pools’ operating hours. Lifeguards are provided for all rentals. Fee includes up to the maximum number of guests listed and a two-hour rental. A 72-hour notice is required to book an outdoor pool. Changes or cancellations to pool reservations are subject to a $50 administrative fee.
Pool party rentals are available Thursday through Sunday in the morning before opening hours at all pools that are not offering swim lessons and, in the evenings, following last swim after sanitation shutdown is complete. Hours vary based on days of the week and pool. Please note some hours have changed from previous years based on the new 2020 pool operating hours.
Private Rentals:
Additional hours and people cannot be added to rentals. No exceptions. Pool capacity refers to the total number of people inside the pool gates, swimming and not swimming.
Allen Bolden Pool, maximum capacity 150 people, $200 mornings & $250 evenings.
Bad Königshofen Family Aquatic Center, maximum capacity 250, $450 mornings & $500 evenings.
Randol Mill Family Aquatic Center, maximum capacity 200, $400 mornings & $450 evenings.
Howard Moore Play Pool, maximum capacity 100, $200 mornings & $250 evenings.
Helen Wessler Play Pool, maximum capacity 75, $150 mornings & $200 evenings.
Woodland West, maximum capacity 150, $200 mornings & $250 evenings.
Private pool rentals can be made over the phone by calling Arlington Aquatics starting at 8:00 a.m. Friday, June 26 at 817-459-5483.

Parks staff is working closely with the Arlington Fire Department to monitor and implement a reasonable reopening timeline that complies with Gov. Abbott’s latest executive orders, the City’s Roadmap to Reopen and Recover plan and social distancing recommendations from local health officials and the CDC.
