Arlington: Child Care Associates Food Distribution Helps Families

More than 200 Arlington families picked up boxes filled with fresh fruit, vegetables and other food on Thursday as part of a distribution partnership with Child Care Associates and the Tarrant Area Food Bank.

Child Care Associates provides services at two Head Start and Early Head Start locations in The American Dream City. It also manages Child Care Management Services, or CCMS, a Workforce Development Board program that provides subsidized childcare to families in Tarrant County.

This week's distribution at Child Care Associates’ 525 Browning Drive office was for families served by the agency and others in the community with financial needs.
