Arlington Hilton Employee Chanell Taylor Wins WOW Hospitality Award

The Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) recently announced the winner of its 2021 WOW Award.

The award recognizes a frontline professional who has gone to great lengths to be kind and create memorable experiences for guests at an Arlington hospitality-related organization.

The 2021 winner is Chanell Taylor, Sales Manager at the Hilton Garden Inn on Lamar Boulevard.

Taylor was nominated by her Director of Sales, Lauren Brown. In her nomination, Brown praised Taylor for her dedication throughout the challenges of 2020. Taylor was even let go at one point and returned ready to tackle the job.

"She jumped in and was on board right away without any questions or hesitations," Brown said. "Since returning back and for the past 10 months, Chanell has played many different roles in the hotel. She has been a front desk agent, banquet staff, a housekeeper, a restaurant server, all while doing her actual job and doing well! She has landed several groups and is the prospecting queen, that’s what we call her! Chanell deserves this recognition, as do so many working diligently to put smiles on people’s faces!"

Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams and Arlington CVB CEO Ron Price were on hand to present the award.
