Arlington: November 2020 Student-Athlete Of The Month: Trelyn Martin

Trelyn Martin, a senior on Bowie High School’s football team, has been selected as the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for November 2020.

Martin is a captain on the Volunteers football team and was named 2nd Team All-District his junior year.

“Everything that he does, he has a purpose,” said Danny DeArman, Bowie’s Football Coach. “That may be the biggest thing that I hope people take from him is having a ‘why.’ Having a purpose of why we’re doing the things that we’re doing.”

Martin, whose favorite subject is math, plans on accepting a scholarship to play football in college and get a master's degree in electrical engineering.
