This two-year-old female Domestic Shorthair is a brown, red, and white Torbie. This week's pet of the week is content to sit in her "cubby" at the shelter and watch the rest of the world go by. If she can find a perch to sit on, she likes looking down on her domain. A somewhat laid-back cat, Marla is also friendly and very amiable. Being petted is appreciated and she responds by purring up a storm. When given a choice, looks like attention time takes precedence over playtime. If you are the one needing a new "purrever" friend, don't hesitate to come check out Marla at the shelter. She could be the right choice for you. Marla is in Cat Adoptions (CA) with ID number A45975493.

This eight-year-old male Rottweiler mix is black and tan in color and weighs 97 pounds. Age is just a number to Cowboy. He appears to be about eight years old but that doesn't hold him back. He's quite energetic and playful. As a quick learner he has learned sit and shake and walks well on a leash (as long as he's leading the way!). More interested in making friends and garnering your affection than playing with toys, Cowboy is eager to please. In his own mind, he even thinks he's a lap dog. Since he has tested as heartworm positive, a new pet guardian will need to follow up with heartworm treatment. Information on lower cost treatment options can be provided at time of adoption. Cowboy's adoption fee is only $25 so "saddle up" and come to the shelter to make this Cowboy your new furry companion. Cowboy is in Dog Adoptions (DA) 11 with ID number A30009815.
