Dog of the Week #1 - Meet Nana
This three-year-old female Labrador Retriever mix is white and tan in color and weighs 61 pounds. Here is a dog as lovable as Nana the dog in "Peter Pan". She has the sweetest temperament and really loves affection. Part of her friendly demeanor makes her want to meet new human friends. While she can be a little shy at first it doesn't take her long to warm up to you. She does walk well on a leash, albeit at a slower somewhat meandering pace. Motivation for Nana seems to come in the form of being petted or cuddled instead of being treat motivated. In a new home, Nana would prefer not having to share it with any feline friends. This two-year-old male Labrador Retriever, black mouth cur mix is tan and white in color and weighs 46 pounds. Finding a four-leaf clover is said to bring you luck; finding this dog, Clover, could be lucky as well. An active, energetic dog, Clover is looking for his luck to change by being adopted. He is a lot of fun and loves to play fetch except that you will probably do most of the fetching. He will chase the toy as long as your arm will hold out. Treats do work as motivation for him but due to his short attention span, he could probably use some structured training.
