Dog of the Week – Meet Beesly
Meet Beesly, our first chosen Dog of the Week. This two-year old male Chihuahua mix is white and tan in color and weighs eight and half pounds. It is fortunate that all available cats in the shelter have been adopted giving us an opportunity to highlight two dogs this week. Our first selection, Beesly, can be a little shy but he is so lovable. He really seems to excel at being a lap loving ball of affection. When encountering other dogs, he exhibits his cautious but curious side and shows off with a good tail wag. Leash walking is handled in a calm manner. A slower pace seems to be preferred by Beesly giving him a chance to see and absorb all the sights and smells that he encounters. Consider adopting Beesly as your home office companion. Dog of the Week – Meet Ace
Meet Ace, our second Dog of the Week, this week. This eight-and-half month old male Pit Bull Terrier/American Blue Heeler mix is black and white in color and weighs 33 pounds. An active family looking for a new furry companion should look no further than Ace. He is "hyper" playful due to his young age and definitely filled with energy! He is looking for a playmate (or two) probably of the canine variety. He appears to be friendly toward other dogs with tail wagging. He does know the command of "sit" and walks well on a leash. If you engage him by using the sound of a squeaky toy, he tends to jump and spin around in excitement. Providing exercise opportunities and lots of affection would probably "ace" your relationship with this young dog. Ace is in Dog Adoptions (DA) 19, with ID number 45287919.
