Cat of the Week – Meet Lynux
This ten-year-old male Domestic Shorthair is a brown and white Tabby. All dressed up and nowhere to go! Lynux has the distinction of having four white socks-two of them knee high and two of them low cut. His white chest gives the look of distinction. He likes to win you over by rubbing up against you enticing you to respond by petting him. While he will watch toys in play, he doesn’t seem interested in playing with them. He’s more the calm and observant type. When he feels like you’re ignoring him, he can get quite vocal. Lynux would probably prefer a nice, quiet home where he can enjoy being the “king” of his castle. Lynux in in Cat Adoptions (CA) 1, with ID number 44490659. While appointments are no longer necessary for seeing animals the number of persons allowed to enter the shelter at one time will be limited.

Dog of the Week – Meet Florence
This one-year-old female Retriever mix is white and brown in color and weighs 57 pounds. A dog that takes treats nicely, loves toys, and plays fetch—what more do you want in a new, furry companion? Florence really isn’t an attention getter—she desires attention. She loves being the center of attention. The command of “sit” is known to her and she can walk well on a leash. A loving, active family willing to spend time with her and provide some structured training would be on Florence’s wish list. Florence is in Dog Adoptions (DA) 1, with ID number 44489886. While appointments are no longer necessary for seeing animals the number of persons allowed to enter the shelter at one time will be limited.
Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
