Cat of the Week - Meet Sassy
This three-year-old female Domestic Shorthair is white and black in color. While this cat has the name of Sassy, she is anything but sassy. Sweetie would be a more appropriate name. Once she gets used to your presence, she turns on her charm. Vocalizing with short chirps, purring, and making “biscuits” as she walks are all endearing qualities. Because Sassy has tested positive for both FELV and FIV, she would probably do best in a stress-free environment as the only animal in the household and remain an indoor only cat. Additionally, she would probably prefer to be around all adults that will provide her love and care. Regular visits to the vet to monitor her health will be necessary. This four-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier mix is red and white in color and weighs 84 pounds. A description of this dog would include “bucking bronco” instead of lion like when playing with toys. He jumps around while actively engaging with, especially, stuffed animals. He is eager to show off his obedience skills by responding to commands of sit and shake and he walks well on a leash. Leo welcomes the opportunity for you to pet him and will remain calm while garnering your affection. Leo would probably do well with a loving family that will engage him in physical activities.
