Cat of the Week - Meet Yaya
This seven-year-old female Domestic Shorthair is a grey and black Tabby. In Greek, the word Yaya means “grandmother”. While Yaya won’t take the place of a grandmother, she is a loving cat. It does take her a while to warm up to you, but your patience can be rewarded. She does like being stroked and has a soft purr. Catch her at the right moment, and she might even make “biscuits” on the floor as she walks. A nice quiet household where Yaya can “chill” in a sunny window would suit her just fine. Are you ready to offer this fine feline a new “purr-ever” home? Yaya is in Cat Adoptions (CA) 5, with ID number 46903824.

Dog of the Week - Meet Neko
This one and half year-old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is white and tan in color and weighs 68 pounds. While the word Neko means “cat” in Japanese, our dog of the week doesn’t have an identity problem. She definitely is not catlike. Expending lots of energy, Neko is a self-entertainer. She loves to play with toys and will throw them and retrieve them herself. She seems to want to be friends with everyone-no one is a stranger to her. She also loves to be the center of attention. A new pet guardian that can offer her opportunities for exercise would probably be a good fit. Neko is patiently waiting (like a cat?) for someone to adopt her today. Are you the right one to choose her? Neko is in Dog Holding (DH) 101, with ID number 46904718.
Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
