“We have to be open to listening,” said Interim Police Chief Jaime Ayala. “We’re a great department. We’re accredited. We’ve won a number of awards. We’re way at the top. But we can’t stop. We have to continue to sharpen our wheel and listen, so that we can get constructive feedback from our citizens. What are the challenges we face? What do we need to focus on? We have to respond to them and listen to them.”

The department has scheduled six of these virtual sessions to maximize opportunities for citizens to participate.
