Arlington: September 2020 Student-Athlete Of The Month: Kaitlyn Bener

Kaitlyn Bener, a senior on Seguin High School’s volleyball and track teams, has been selected as the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for September 2020. Bener plays outside hitter and defensive specialist for the Lady Cougars.

“She just owns the court,” said Jamie Watts, Head Seguin Volleyball Coach. “It’s really important that you have a leader that can direct things and help you out as a coach.”

Bener, whose favorite subject is science, plans on majoring in biology and becoming a veterinarian.
