Arlington: Tarrant County Offices Closed Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021 Due To Winter Weather

Governor Abbott has issued a disaster declaration in all 254 counties in response to the historical and severe winter weather impacting Texas. The White House has also issued a Federal Emergency Declaration in Texas at the Governor’s request. The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) has already begun to implement rolling blackouts across Tarrant County and all Texans have been urged to stay off the roads and take conscious steps to conserve energy.

Due to these unprecedented circumstances, all Tarrant County governmental buildings will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021. The Commissioners Court meeting on Tuesday is also canceled.
