Boxall Sworn In As New Arlington City Council District 5 Representative

Surrounded by family and friends, District 4 City Council Representative Andrew Piel, District 8 Representative Dr. Barbara Odom-Wesley and newly elected District 5 Representative Rebecca Boxall were sworn in during the May 18, 2021, evening council meeting.

Piel and Dr. Odom-Wesley were re-elected to two-year terms and Boxall won the most votes for the open District 5 seat during the May 1 election. A runoff election is scheduled Saturday, June 5 for the mayor’s seat and the District 3 City Council seat.
