Groups pay nothing to book a speaker through the bureau, including fees, honorariums and mileage. They choose a presentation on the speaker’s profile, click “Request This Free Speech” and fill out a form. The speaker then contacts the group to arrange details.
“Marriage and career changes come up in a lot of community groups, and Bernitha speaks on both,” said Ginny Richardson, founder of Free Speakers. “Booking her costs a group nothing.”
