Merryhill School Hosts 30th Anniversary Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Merryhill School staff, students and parents, and representatives from the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce attended the ceremony

On April 30, Merryhill Preschool & Elementary School in Arlington hosted a ribbon cutting to commemorate its 30th anniversary. In attendance at the ceremony were Merryhill Preschool & Elementary School staff, students and parents, as well as representatives from the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce. Remarks were provided by Principal Michelle Bechtel.

Merryhill Preschool & Elementary School has served the families of Arlington since 1988. Its Links to Learning preschool curriculum prepares children for kindergarten and beyond by developing important academic, social and emotional skills. In the elementary years, Merryhill School combines a rigorous, standards-based curriculum with experiences that develop 21st century skills, including creativity, collaboration and communication. Merryhill School creates a safe, supportive learning environment in which teachers focus on the strengths and learning styles of each individual child. It also provides a technology-rich environment, including an iPad for each fourth through sixth grade student.
