When Arlington's AT&T Stadium was still in the design phase, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wanted to make sure the Stadium was visible from Interstate 30. A team of architects and engineers guaranteed Jones the design would make a statement.
A decade after opening, the Stadium has proven to be more than just an incredible design. It set the standard for stadiums around the world, elevated the Cowboys even further in the league and brought millions of visitors to Arlington.

HKS Architects' Executive Vice President Bryan Trubey helped with the Stadium design. Trubey's first job was at a firm in Downtown Arlington.
"One of the things I learned working in Arlington as a young person is the mayors were visionary," Trubey said. "It was very obvious Arlington had a very sophisticated approach to thinking of these long-term investments."
Years after his first job Downtown, Trubey would go on to help create several of the major projects he learned about early in his career — including the designs for AT&T Stadium and the new Globe Life Field.
Just as Trubey and the team at HKS continue taking their work to new levels, Trubey says Arlington is doing the same.
"One of the great attributes of Arlington is their ability to dream big. In that way, you could say they're the quintessential Texas city," Trubey said.
