Upcoming Homeownership Fair To Help Future Home Buyers
Information is available on topics like mortgage lending, foreclosure prevention, affordable housing programs and other tips for homeowners.

ARLINGTON, TX — Arlington's third-annual Homeownership Fair this Saturday aims to help residents learn more about buying a home in today’s real estate market, as well as down payment assistance programs, credit repair and other topics.
The free event offers informational sessions on topics like mortgage lending, foreclosure prevention, affordable housing programs, weatherization, energy savings, insurance, city home repair programs and more.
Residents will have the opportunity to interact one-on-one with exhibitors from mortgage lenders, real estate agents, housing specialists and city personnel.

Activities will be available for children ages 6 and up, including a Home Depot workshop, Arlington Library story time and free play, and Parks and Recreation activities. The Homeownership Fair will be held at the Arlington Convention Center at 1200 Ballpark Way. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 21.
