Attendees enjoyed a catered fajita dinner, live music, and special honors for the oldest members present, underscoring the organization’s appreciation for Bandera County’s farming and ranching community.
   

• Tivy XC claims three titles at Comfort Oktoberfest Meet (hccommunityjournal.com) — Tivy’s cross country teams just dominated the Comfort Oktoberfest Meet and now have their sights set on Bandera, where they’ll run the district meet on October 14. Local runners can expect strong competition as both the boys and girls squads bring multiple top-10 finishers and recent team titles into Bandera’s home course.
