• Arkansas football bolstered roster with transfer players from winning programs (arkansasonline.com) — A former Bay City standout, defensive tackle Carlon Jones, is now part of Arkansas' rebuilt defensive front after transferring from USC, bringing SEC-size and experience from a winning program. Coaches say Jones and fellow transfers are hungry to prove themselves and add much-needed depth and bulk to a Razorbacks defense trying to bounce back from a 2-10 season.
