• Crews respond to water line break near Houston ISD's Bellaire High, city says (houstonchronicle.com) — A water line break near Bellaire High School left the campus without running water Tuesday morning, as Bellaire city crews worked at South Rice Avenue and Pine Street. Houston ISD says students are safe and the school remains open, but the city has not yet provided a timeline for full water service restoration in the area.
• Demolition work at south detention basin in full swing for Cypress Ditch project in Bellaire (communityimpact.com) — Bellaire's Cypress Ditch flood mitigation project is moving ahead, with demolition at the south detention basin underway and design work expected to wrap by late this year. City Council also learned Bellaire secured $54 million in state funding and is coordinating with Houston, Harris County Flood Control, and TxDOT on future phases that include decommissioning the local wastewater treatment plant.
