• Moms For Liberty Questions Houston Muslim Student Coalition Promo (dallasexpress.com) — A Moms for Liberty chapter is questioning social media promotions tied to a Houston Muslim Student Association coalition that includes Bellaire High School's MSA. The group wants more transparency about poetry contest materials and outside partnerships, while records show links to the University of Houston MSA but no proof of school sponsorship or classroom use so far.
• Betty June Freeland, 94 – WLKM Radio 95.9 FM (wlkm.com) — Longtime librarian and avid singer Betty June Freeland, a Bellaire resident who spent her final years at the Gardens of Bellaire, has died at age 94. Remembered for her love of books, music, travel, and community service, she leaves family in Texas and the Midwest, with a memorial service to be held later in Sturgis, Michigan.
