4th Annual Mini-Con Planned At Cedar Park Library
Geek paradise scheduled on Friday, Aug. 10 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., open to kids of all ages with fun activities to wrap up summer break.

CEDAR PARK, TX — The bad news, kids, is that summer break is almost over. The good news is that the Cedar Park Library is poised to stage its fourth annual Min-Con.
This geek paradise is scheduled on Friday, Aug. 10 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and is open to kids of all ages. Crafts, tabletop games, classic arcade games, a cosplay contest will be in the offing, and local vendors will be on hand — including Titan Moon Comics, library officials said.
Every year, public libraries around the state and country host huge summer reading clubs that are primarily targeted toward children, officials explained. Many libraries — including the Cedar Park Public Library —bring adults in on the fun, too.
