8 Cedar Park Juveniles Arrested After School Vandalized
Williamson County Sheriff's Office said the minors were arrested at their school after Naumann Elementary School was vandalized.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Eight juveniles were arrested in connection to an investigation into vandalism at an elementary school, the Williamson County Sheriff's Office said on Friday.
The arrests were made at Cedar Park Middle School, according to the sheriff's office. The law enforcement action stems from an investigation into vandalism at Naumann Elementary School, 1201 Brighton Bend Lane, that occurred on Aug. 8, according to a press advisory.
The sheriff's office said a ninth juvenile is being sought in connection to the case. Charges include burglary and criminal mischief. It's unclear why the sheriff's office chose to arrest the minors at their school rather than effecting the arrests with parental cooperation at their homes as no further details were released. It's also unclear when exactly the arrests were made, although the sheriff's tweet was posted on Friday at 4:13 p.m.
